ESG Asia Pacific Limited (ESG Green Energy) is part of the E.Sime Group which is a 3rd generation family owned business.
They deliver small to medium scale renewable energy solutions across Wind, Solar and Hydro systems. Working with ESG Asia Pacific allows companies to develop their own customized renewable energy solutions with technology systems that have a proven record.
Wind power should be considered an important component of any long-term energy strategy, as wind power generation uses a natural and virtually inexhaustible source of power. ESG Asia Pacific use Proven Turbines for wind energy solutions. Proven Turbines are renowned around the world as being the most robust turbine available. There are over 3000 turbines in some of the most inhospitable parts of the world.
Hydro power is an age-old method of energy production. It is the leading source of renewable energy, and in contrast to burning fossil fuels, essentially produces no carbon dioxide or other harmful emissions. Solar is the fastest growing energy source in the world, and for good reason. It offers a limitless supply of clean, safe, renewable energy for heat and power and it’s more affordable, more efficient, and more reliable than ever. ESG have a range of hydro and solar solutions and also offer a monitoring system which can work as an educational display and identify any faults or under-perfrormance at an early stage.
ESG also have a wide range of expertise in specialist off grid lighting systems such as Navigation Aids, Aviation Lighting and stand alone street lighting and road signs.
The ESG Green Energy Pod
The Green Energy Pod utilises wind, solar and hydro distributed energy to generate power direct from its local environment.
The Pod is designed to be a completely renewable power station which can be used in remote or inaccessible conditions in both a standalone off-grid or on-grid format. ESG are working towards developing a rapidly deployable version of the Green Energy Pod which is proposed to go to market by mid-2012.
For demonstartion purposes the Energy Pod has been fitted with a range to operate from lap-top functions, a car charging unit, a mobile phone charging facility and the ability to heat and cook in a fully self-sufficient and contained manner.
The Pod has been designed to be easily adaptable so that it can suit and make best use of the requirements and resources at potential future sites.
The development of the Green Energy Pod has been supported by Wellington businesses and Grow Wellington.
